Background:
I joined LOD at the start in 2008 and what a wild ride it’s been! I’ve supported the growth of LOD in different roles, predominantly leading on the talent and development agenda but also playing a lead role in technology, digital, innovation and more recently our use of AI. My role is broad and varied but I see myself as a ‘fixer’, if anyone needs support to get things done, I’m there to help in any way I can.
Joining Consilio:
I’m excited about being part of a big US network. I studied and worked in Houston for 18 months as a post-grad and I loved my time seeing as much as I could in America. I’ve already been to Washington DC to meet people as part of this integration and I’d love to see some other cities and get the opportunity to connect with my new US colleagues!
Favorite project you’ve ever worked on?
There are so many amazing projects I’ve been part of, but our technology transformation program is definitely up there. Completely redesigning our internal and external applications, data structures and our client and lawyer facing technology has been transformational. We’ve achieved award winning digital tools/platforms for our flexible talent and commercially valuable innovation in our broadcasting tool. As we’ve grown, we’ve brought people together from globally acquired businesses into common platforms. One of my key focus areas is designing practical but unique and differentiated digital experiences to set us apart from our competitors.
A fun fact about you:
As a child I was really into dance and sports, I’ve danced with the English National Ballet at Sadlers Wells and captained many sports teams in High School, reaching County standard at netball and badminton.
