Our Vision 

Consilio is committed to developing business relationships with diverse and small suppliers that can provide high quality, innovative, and cost-effective products and services. Sourcing from these types of suppliers strengthens the efficiency and reliability of our own procurement. It also enables us to better serve our clients by helping to improve the diversity of their supply chains. And we recognize that doing business with diverse and small companies is an important way we can support businesses in the local communities where we work and live. 

Our Commitment 

Consilio’s U.S. Supplier Diversity program is part of our broader commitment to corporate social responsibility and diversity, equity, and inclusion. Elements of our Supplier Diversity program include: 

  • Identifying diverse and small suppliers we currently do business with and developing protocols for measuring Consilio’s spend with those companies. 

  • Proactively seeking opportunities to expand our network of diverse and small suppliers. 

  • Establishing goals for increasing Consilio’s spend with diverse and small suppliers. 

  • Training and encouraging our purchasers to include diverse and small suppliers in the purchasing process where there is alignment with our business needs. 

  • Creating internal and external awareness of Consilio’s Supplier Diversity program. 

  • Partnering with our clients to increase diversity in their supply chains. 

Qualifications 

Consilio seeks to do business with qualified diverse and small suppliers in the U.S. including:  

  • Minority-owned businesses 

  • Woman-owned businesses 

  • Disadvantaged-owned businesses 

  • LGBTQ-owned businesses 

  • Veteran-owned and Service-disabled veteran-owned businesses 

  • Disabled-owned businesses 

  • HUB Zone businesses 

  • Section 8(a) businesses 

  • Other certified small businesses​ 

Consilio prefers that small and diverse suppliers in its network maintain certification through a third-party certification organization. However, we will consider self-certified small or diverse businesses on a case-by-case basis.
