Acquired in September 2023, this merging of Lawyers On Demand (LOD) with Consilio’s platform of offerings expands clients’ options for legal talent solutions as well as enhances the experience of our flexible talent.

This combined offering brings together the services of Lawyers On Demand with Consilio’s expertise on talent solutions, workforce optimization, and staffing technology solutions. As part of this transition, Consilio’s Legal Secondments, Managed Teams, Direct Hire Placements, and Enterprise Accounts teams will remain the same but report under the Lawyers On Demand brand.

Lawyers On Demand remains an integrated part of the broader Consilio experience and ecosystem, so that clients can tap into and realize the benefits of the world’s largest community of knowledge, client peers, technology, and talent in legal.

Recent polling from Lawyers On Demand, as well as in the market, confirm that over half of the industry plans to hire additional lawyers in the first half of 2024, and leveraging of contingent labor remains the preferred method of hire. This is on the heels of data indicating that two-thirds of managers in the workforce had to pause projects in 2023, but were poised to pick them up in 2024.

As part of this transition, over the next several quarters, the SYKE brand, a premier legal technology consultancy that Consilio acquired alongside LOD last year, will begin its transition under the main Consilio banner integrating with the Advisory & Transformation business – which assists with design and implementation of strategic initiatives for legal and compliance teams for companies and law firms worldwide.
