Consilio Announces Acquisition of DiscoverReady
Combined business will leverage complementary strengths to deliver market-leading legal consulting and services to corporate legal teams and law firms globally
WASHINGTON, D.C. – October 30, 2018 – Consilio, a global leader in eDiscovery, document review, risk management, and legal consulting services, has announced it has acquired DiscoverReady, a premier eDiscovery, document review, and compliance solutions provider. The combined company will operate more than 70 offices, review centers, and data centers around the world in 11 countries. The company’s global operations will continue to serve investigation, litigation, and compliance matters of all sizes and complexities, anywhere in the world.
“DiscoverReady has a well-earned reputation of delivering consistently exceptional service experiences through the innovative application of advanced technologies,” said Andy Macdonald, chief executive officer of Consilio. “This acquisition aligns well with our strategy to invest in differentiated solutions that result in a superior and consistent client experience.”
“Consilio is one of the most important brands in the industry, and we’re excited to join such an undisputed market leader,” said James Schellhase, chief executive officer of DiscoverReady. “With Consilio’s considerable worldwide operations and 24-7-365 follow-the-sun services delivery model, we know our clients will enjoy the benefits of a more robust infrastructure, an extended solutions portfolio, expanded geographic coverage, and an even deeper bench of expert advisors.”
“We are incredibly excited to build a best-in-class document review platform with Consilio’s acquisition of DiscoverReady,” said Hoon Cho, Managing Director of GI Partners, which acquired Consilio earlier this year. “With this year’s continuing success in integrating Consilio and Advanced Discovery, and now the acquisition of DiscoverReady, Consilio is committed to being the leading global provider of eDiscovery.”
The transaction is now closed and will be followed by an integration period of several quarters as the two businesses align systems and processes.
