At Consilio, we proudly join the global community in celebrating International Women’s Day 2026: #IWD2026. This year, IWD reaches its milestone celebration of 115 years. The theme of #IWD2026 is #GiveToGain which serves as a powerful reminder that when we give our time, knowledge, resources, and support to women’s advancement, global society thrives together.
This year’s theme encourages thinking beyond individual achievement and toward a culture of generosity that accelerates meaningful progress for women everywhere. Giving, whether through mentorship, visibility, advocacy, or investing in women-led initiatives, in turn creates ripple effects that strengthen communities, workplaces, industries, and societies.
At Consilio, our commitment to gender equity is woven into everything we do. We continue to champion the professional growth, empowerment, and recognition of women across our legal and LegalTech teams. Through our own initiatives like the WE-Together Affinity Group, the Women in Technology blog series, and WE Together India, we nurture a culture where women are supported, celebrated, and positioned to succeed.
Why #GiveToGain Matters
Giving isn’t solely about charity; it’s about intentionally creating more opportunities for women, such as the following:
- Sharing knowledge and experience to elevate future leaders
- Mentoring and sponsoring women’s careers
- Amplifying women’s voices and visibility
- Investing in women-centric programs and communities
This International Women’s Day, we reflect on the progress we’ve made and recommit to the journey ahead, not only to celebrate women’s achievements but to empower and uplift them in meaningful ways that truly make a difference. Check out what #IWD2026 means to several of our very own employees at Consilio:
Linda Caldwell | Vice President, Total Rewards
How do you think Consilio champions women in the workplace?
Consilio offers a number of programs to support Women in the Workforce. From formal mentoring to career development and a comprehensive benefits package, many elements of our Total Rewards Package support women. One third of our Executive Leadership Team are Women and we have a number of Women in key leadership roles across the world so it’s natural to see a career path at Consilio.
What advice would you give to young women entering today’s workforce?
My oldest daughter is studying business at my alma mater. I am in awe of the resources she has that weren’t available to me. I encourage her to take advantage of all the opportunities that come her way. Be curious, ask questions, don’t be afraid to think outside the box, and remind yourself that you have earned your spot at the table.
Sara Sinclair | Senior Director, Internal Communications
What does International Women’s Day mean to you?
As a vocal supporter of women’s rights, International Women’s Day is an important reminder of the battles women have fought, and continue to fight, to achieve gender equality. We still live in a world where discrimination and stereotypes remain, but this day celebrates the champions and advocates driving change. My hope is for women to achieve equal respect while honoring our diversity and building a more inclusive future.
How do you think Consilio champions women in the workplace?
As a new teammate, it’s been refreshing to see women represented at every level of the organization, including our executive team. Representation matters. It empowers other women and creates a real sense of belonging. In my short time at Consilio, I’ve seen women’s voices respected and celebrated, and that’s something I truly value.
How do you feel valued in your role at Consilio?
Since starting my role, I’ve felt warmly welcomed. In conversations with teammates and leaders, I feel appreciated for my experience, skills, and perspectives. That kind of culture creates psychological safety and support and allows me to do my best work.
What advice would you give to young women entering today’s workforce?
Be authentic. Share your opinions freely. Believe in your worth.
Anita Thompson | Senior Director, Marketing (Head of APAC & Middle East)
What does International Women’s Day mean to you?
For me, International Women’s Day is less about celebration and more about reflection and responsibility. It’s a chance to recognise the contribution women make every day — often across work, family, and community — and to be honest about where progress is still needed. It’s also a reminder that meaningful change comes from action. Using influence to create opportunity, flexibility, and access, and making small but deliberate changes that support women to thrive — not just today, but all year round.
How do you think Consilio champions women in the workplace?
Consilio supports women by creating an environment where flexibility, trust, and opportunity are built into how we work. From flexible career pathways and hybrid working to investing in leadership development and mentoring, there’s a clear focus on enabling women to grow and lead in ways that work for different stages of life and career.
Just as importantly, Consilio encourages different ways of working and leading, creating an environment where women can progress and succeed without needing to conform to a single model. But above all Consilio supports success for everyone, creating an inclusive environment where opportunity and support are available regardless of gender.
How do you feel valued in your role at Consilio?
In my role at Consilio, leading marketing across multiple regions, I feel valued through the trust placed in me to shape strategy, make decisions, and drive meaningful outcomes for the business. There is genuine respect for experience and perspective, and a strong sense of partnership across all the teams globally.
I also feel supported to grow, whether that’s through taking on broader responsibility, expanding into new markets, or being trusted to lead initiatives that have real impact, supported by an environment that encourages thoughtful leadership and long-term growth.
What advice would you give to young women entering today’s workforce?
Be yourself, and don’t feel pressure to fit a mould you think success requires. Your perspective, experiences, and way of leading are strengths — authenticity builds trust and credibility over time.
Be curious, ask questions, and don’t wait until you feel “ready” to put your hand up for opportunities. Seek out people who support and challenge you, back yourself even when it feels uncomfortable, and remember that careers aren’t linear — growth often comes from saying yes before you have all the answers.
