We are pleased to share a new Legaltech News article from Robert Keeling, co-managing partner of Redgrave, and his colleague Amy Hanke, co-authored with Consilio's Allison Myers and Mark Resnick: "TAR and Generative AI Team Up to Achieve Success in Large-Scale Discovery."
It details a cross-border antitrust investigation with a review population that reached 69.6 million documents and an eight-week production deadline. The team's answer was sequence: six issue-specific TAR models for speed and scale, with gen AI layered on top as a precision filter. Gen AI removed 27.5% of the TAR-positive documents it analyzed, more than one in four that would otherwise have moved toward production, and the authors close with practical guidance on validating a layered workflow.
