In late 2015, Consilio completed the acquisitions of both U.K.-based Proven Legal Technologies and U.S.-based Huron Legal. With these additions, Consilio is now one of the largest providers of eDisclosure, document review and legal consulting services anywhere in the world. But most importantly, we are one of the most capable providers, with a depth of experience and breadth of services that will help our clients overcome their most difficult challenges.

Legacy Huron Legal and Proven Legal Technologies clients will see these benefits immediately. Consilio has a strong presence globally, with offices in the world’s financial centers. We combine this presence with our considerable cross-cultural experience and knowledge of various regional data-protection and privacy laws to support clients with large, complex, cross-border matters.

Clients new to the Consilio family can also benefit from our differentiated, innovative technologies. We are experts in processing nontraditional data types – such as audio and chat transcript documents – that are becoming more prevalent in legal reviews.  We have also made investments in technologies like predictive coding to help our clients better control the costs and quality of their reviews.

Consilio clients will benefit from the addition of the Proven Legal Technologies and Huron Legal teams. Each organisation brings considerable resources with enviable experience in their local markets that deepens our bench of problem-solving experts.  With added consulting expertise in areas such as forensics, information governance, law department management and legal analytics, our clients have more access to best practices and strategic thinking to help lower cost, improve efficiency and mitigate risk. And as both Proven Legal Technologies and Huron Legal are long-standing Best in Service providers of Relativity, Consilio clients now have the option of using this review platform for their matters, as well.

In 2016, clients of all three companies will see us take the strengths of each and tightly weave them into one unified, global, services-delivery organization that is driven by a common mission: to deliver excellent service. We will continue to make investments in support of this goal.
